DescriptionWe are looking for a candidate with a strong record of owning and executing strategic, cross-functional projects as well as partnering with other teams to drive transportation decarbonization programs and sustainability goals for AMXL in line with the highest standards.

You will partner with various teams (fleet procurement, design and operations engineering, corporate sustainability, field operations) and other internal stakeholders to create, delegate and deliver on carbon reduction initiatives.

You will be responsible for yearly (OP1 / 2) goals and driving abatement initiatives across Last Mile, Middle Mile and First Mile Operations of AMXL to meet those goals.

This role will help establish mechanisms to scale our work and identify highest areas of opportunity to drive reductions to meet the Climate Pledge goal of net zero carbon by 2040.

Lastly, you will be managing periodic reviews and reporting our progress across various initiatives.Key job responsibilitiesPartner with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Fleet Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Corporate Sustainability to build and execute product and program roadmaps.

Align stakeholders on a shared vision and defined milestones, advocating for resources to accomplish plan.Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, surfacing and mitigating risks, and escalating appropriately.

Develop scalable and effective mechanisms for reviewing, managing, and reporting on product / program roadmaps.Improve metrics / reporting for how we calculate actual carbon emissions across all AMXL operations.

Possess a deep understanding of worldwide sustainability initiatives, region specific policies / subsidies, and carbon abatement technologies in transportation space.

g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical / IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Experience with presenting to leadership, writing strategy docs, car funding docs, OP1&2 justification docsKnowledge of sustainability best practices related to building and infrastructurePreferred Qualifications2+ years of driving process improvements experienceMaster's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field2+ years of change management experience2+ years of delivering cross functional projects experienceExperience with fleet management or electric vehicles (EV).

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
