What You Will Do
- Conduct inspections at their assigned jobsite(s) including inspection of work areas and equipment; observing employee work practices and improving safety preparedness to ensure employees are equipped with the training, tools, and equipment necessary to work safely.
- Coordinate field employee medical treatment for injury response utilizing company medical treatment protocol.
- Identify corrective actions necessary to bring job sites into compliance with applicable codes, laws, regulations, and standards, and explain these measures to others.
- Assist supervisors with the timely completion of required Accident Reports. Review incident investigations to ensure causes and corrective actions have been addressed.
Take lead role in creation of Root Cause Maps in response to workplace incidents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of safety documentation including pre-task planning forms, Site Specific Safety Plans, jobsite safety inspections and various permits.
- Provide assistance with work activities that require permits, including Confined Space, Hot Work, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years safety experience in the construction
- OSHA 30
