UX/Visual Designer II

Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a UX / Visual Designer. This is a 6 month + contract hybrid remote position located in Mountain View, CA.

Summary :

Seeking a UX / Visual Designer.

Responsibilities :

• Aesthetic sensibility ability to make design decisions that increase the overall appeal of a product based on relevant aesthetic trends and appropriate application and product brand styling.
• Craftsmanship ability to make design decisions that result in a coherent product, platform, or user experience, including the ability to question and assess execution, craft, longevity, and scale of designs.
• Presentations ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.

Requirements :

• Web standards development or prototyping skills (Figma, Principle or Protopie).
• Experience building good, collaborative relationships across geographically distributed teams.
• Familiarity with user research methods or experience working closely with researchers.
• Familiarity with cloud computing or data center technologies.
• Familiarity with software development.
• Interest and expertise in data visualization.
• Product design Knowledge of product design principles and user-centric processes.
• Not accepting candidates who have primary projects on B2B, Tools design, Desktop design and Internal tools creation.
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications / Nice to Have :

• Familiarity and experience working in the Ads space.
• Experience with writing content for additional modes of communication such as direct mail, phone scripts and printed user guides.
• Expert command of writing benefit-oriented, consumer-focused copy.
• A strong understanding of user experience principles, and email marketing.
• Ability to work globally and cross-functionally in an ambiguous environment.
• Excellent project manager and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time.
• Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, project management and analytical skills.
• Professional experience : 1 -3 years' experience in writing and designing product experiences as part of a UX team developing software and / or at a digital agency.
• Proven ability to drive design thinking through working closely with UX and product teams.

Pay rate range : $45.45 - $59.51 hourly.
