ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity seeks a talented administrative assistant to support its business services team.
This role will involve administrative support to the managing director of business services, five business services team directors, and about 20 other team members, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination of various tasks and resources.
The administrative assistant will work primarily at our City Creek headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, with occasional remote work opportunities depending on the team’s needs and commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and financial reimbursements;
support in-person and virtual meetings and events
Team Coordination Assist the team in coordinating meetings, creating agendas, taking minutes, noting follow-up and to-do items, managing the team’s purchasing card, and translating collateral materials
Travel Management Act as the team’s travel coordinator, handling travel authorizations, reimbursements, and group gatherings
Onboarding / Offboarding Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for team members
Relationship Building Foster relationships with other GOEO teams, state agencies, and community partners
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Zoom
Ability to be a quick study using internal systems, including Salesforce, Concur, and Basecamp
Attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Friendly and collaborative personality
