What are we looking for in a Clinic Supervisor?
The Clinic Supervisor provides administrative oversight and supervision to the Support Services team in our satellite and outlying clinics throughout Comprehensive Healthcare’s service area.
In collaboration with the other Clinic Supervisor and the Administrative Services Director, The Clinic Supervisor assists with establishing consistent practices and coordinating & overseeing outpatient clinic operations with the goal of maximizing both client satisfaction and clinical effectiveness.
This includes front desk operations like scheduling, client check-in, and prior authorization requests. In addition, the Clinic Supervisor will coach and train front desk staff to ensure exceptional customer service, improve clients’ access to treatment, and maximize the organization’s ability to receive reimbursement for services being provided.
This position requires exceptional management and interpersonal skills, a talent for motivating others, and detailed knowledge of funding sources and relevant service regulations.
Although based in our Yakima office, the Clinic Supervisor is responsible for support staff at all satellite campuses and facilities outside of our main outpatient clinic in Yakima, so regular travel throughout the week is expected.
Clinic Supervisor duties may include :
- overseeing the day-to-day front office operations of the assigned clinics
- establishing and standardizing customer service procedures and workflows and providing training to staff to enhance client satisfaction
- directing scheduling of all outpatient clinical staff to maximize direct service hours and clients’ timely access to services
- ensuring that prospective and current clients have support to maximize their entitled health benefits, including comprehensive eligibility screenings for available services and sliding fees and obtaining prior authorizations
- engaging and training support staff to ensure a supportive, customer-friendly process and timely responses for all incoming phone calls and referrals
- developing strong collaborative relationships with clinical teams to ensure effective support functions and enhance teams’ productivity
Qualifications :
- Associate degree in healthcare management or related field
- Five years of experience in a related position within the healthcare field
- Strong understanding of funding source requirements related to commercial insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, Title XIX, and other payors
- Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and satisfactory driving record
