Job Title : Plant Manager

Job Summary :

The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that production goals are met efficiently costeffectively and safely.

The Plant Manager will lead a team of production supervisors and workers manage resources and implement processes to optimize productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Management :
  • Oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet or exceed production targets.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure ontime delivery of products.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Manage and mentor plant staff including production supervisors line workers and maintenance personnel.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment emphasizing teamwork safety and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Quality Control :
  • Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues or defects in a timely manner.
  • Safety and Compliance :
  • Develop implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations health and safety standards and other legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety training and audits.
  • Budget and Resource Management :
  • Manage the plant’s budget including labor materials and overhead costs.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity efficiency and quality.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other odologies to streamline operations.
  • yze production data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Communication and Reporting :
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with upper management staff and other departments.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance including production metrics financials and quality issues.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or other stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Manufacturing Industrial Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bilingual Spanish / English strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing management role preferably as a Plant Manager or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes quality control and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal ss.
  • Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to yze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong problemsolving ss and the ability to work under pressure.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment including standing for long periods and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.
