Our client is seeking an OEM Sales Director with experience in the fields of lighting, HVAC, building automation, and commercial real estate to travel for business and introduce their self-powered wireless IoT Solutions to a larger market share.

Education / Experience
- Business degree with technical flair or vice versa
- Strong OEM network from e.g. lighting, HVAC, building automation, commercial real estate.
- Proficient at Salesforce, Sage or other CRM system and MS Office.
- Preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets and follow up.
- Fluent in English; Spanish an advantage.
- Experience maintaining and expanding network of sales reps and distributors in the area.
- Skilled at prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities from start to market launch.
- Proven track record of achieving high sales growth within competitive business environments.
- Experience presenting to C-level decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the SVP Sales, you will promote and sell our IoT energy harvesting wireless modules and lighting control solutions to companies within building automation, lighting, HVAC, and Smart Homes in the western region of North America.
- Develop customer account plans (short, medium, and long term) to meet or exceed budget.
- Expand existing OEM relationships and identify new opportunities to grow the business.
- Find, onboard and train new distributors and sales reps and review them on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain accurate pipeline in CRM.
- Weekly / monthly reporting on progress and forecast towards budget.
- You will respond to inbound marketing leads and undertake activities necessary to close business. You will understand our customer's needs, articulate our value proposition, create proposals, and lead negotiations until contracts are signed, and deals are closed.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including but not limited to product / customer marketing, technical support, and operations to ensure operational excellence.
- Contribute to product strategy by recommending new products, applications, and markets.
- You will travel and visit customers, trade shows & conferences about 25-40% of the time.
