Thomas Cuisine is looking for a PM Cook for The Eating Recovery Center!
The Cook performs a wide variety of tasks and processes to prepare and cook food for patients, employees, and visitors, following standard practices and procedures while complying with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include following standard recipes, production sheets, tallies, and ingredient room sheets to achieve nutritiously, high quality, cost-effective meals and handles food and equipment in accordance with sanitation and safety practices.
$17-$19 / hr DOE Saturday and Sunday : 10 am - 6 : 30 pm There is potential for this position to turn into full time
- Must have previous 1 year of line cooking / culinary experience
- Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
- Follow caf guidelines concerning guest services, food, and physical safety, equipment / space cleaning requirements at all times.
- Prepare food items, ensuring consistency and compliance with the Cafe's recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Great work / life balance
- Scratch based food preparation, preferred
- Joining a tenured and experienced culinary team
- Chef-driven concepts and progressive training
- Professional kitchen environment experience
- Must have Food Handlers Card
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
