What’s the Role?

The Director of Product Management will lead the product management function, driving the development and execution of product strategies for our bioscience portfolio.

This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to commercialization.

The ideal candidate will excel in product development, cross-functional collaboration, and market analysis to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you’ll do :

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap : Develop and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for the product portfolio. Identify market needs, set product goals, and define strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and market opportunities.
  • Product Development : Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, including concept development, design, and implementation.

Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and other teams to ensure the successful development of new products and enhancements to existing products.

Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and strategic decisions.

Assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to guide product development and positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams including R&D, engineering, regulatory, and operations to ensure alignment and successful execution of product development projects.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to resolve issues and drive project success.

Product Roadmap Management : Create and manage a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

Adjust the roadmap as needed based on market feedback, business priorities, and project progress.

  • Product Launch Planning : Co-lead the planning and execution of product launches together with the product marketing team, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure a smooth transition from development to market.
  • Performance Tracking : Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including sales data, market share, and customer feedback.

Utilize data-driven insights to refine product strategies, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Customer and Market Engagement : Engage with key customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to gather insights and feedback.

Ensure that products meet market demands and customer needs by incorporating feedback into the product development process.

Budget Management : Develop and manage budgets for product development projects. Ensure that projects are completed within budget and financial targets are met.

What we need from you :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D.) is highly desirable.
  • 7-10 years of Product Management experience within the bioscience or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in product development and lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Deep understanding of bioscience product development, market dynamics, and customer needs. Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and project management skills.

Ability to navigate and manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Compensation :

$150,000 - $180,000 a yearThe compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
