We are on the lookout for a diligent Payroll Administrator to join our team in Puyallup, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for weekly payroll processing and supporting other payroll-related tasks in our construction industry operations.
You will be instrumental in efficiently managing timecards entered by field employees and handling new contracts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Administer weekly payroll for various entities within the company
- Support payroll operations by assisting other team members as needed
- Manage timecards, including importing and exporting data into the system and manual entries where necessary
- Handle new contracts, particularly in relation to the PTO program
- Assist with certified payroll tasks and liaise with Labor and Industries (L& I)
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for payroll management and related functions
- Handle three different payrolls : the main company, the construction subsidiary, and field payroll
- Participate in the in-house payroll process
- Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Kronos Timekeeping System, Microsoft Excel, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Benefit Functions, Check Processing, Certified Payroll, Time Sheets, Time Cards, and Weekly Payroll
- Use Viewpoint (ERP) and B2W (field logs) software for managing payroll processes.
- Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
- Familiarity with About Time software
- Proficient in accounting functions and benefit functions
- Experience in check processing and certified payroll
- Ability to manage time sheets and time cards
- Experience in executing weekly payroll
