Automotive Service Advisor

Job Description
A service advisor performs many different tasks throughout the workday. A typical day begins with greeting customers, checking in their vehicles and distributing work to technicians.
Technician worksheets have been prepared the day before and all materials needed for jobs have been verified. As jobs are diagnosed and completed by technicians, estimates are prepared and customer callbacks performed.
Once approved, additional parts are ordered and schedule is modified to suit timely arrival of parts. As the day progresses, invoices are completed and customers are contacted.
Vendor and sales invoices are filed, PA MV-431 inspection book is completed. Customers are greeted and vehicles are picked up.
Preparation for the next workday is completed. Occasional problem solving is required. Receiving incoming parts and occasional packaging and return of part cores and incorrect part returns.
Inspection of vehicles prior to delivery to ensure cleanliness and quality. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
