Cardiac Sonographer Requirements :
- Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedure and related responsibilities required. 2+ years is preferred.
- ARDMS / RDCS certification is required.
- CCI / RCS certification in Echo
- Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
- Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
- Must have a current BLS / CPR
Cardiac Sonographer Job Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures, including OB, general, and vascular.
- Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.
- Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
- Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
