Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas Assistant / Associate Professor is responsible for teaching, research and service. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institution policy.
The position is tenure track and a nine-month appointment. Job Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide undergraduate and graduate students with engaging experiential learning opportunities in both clincial and academic environments;
develop a line of research and seek extramural funding; and participate in university governance, curriculum planning, and functions to support the development and growth of the department and institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of Central Arkansas invites applicants for a 9-month, full-time tenure-track Assistant / Associate professor rank.
Expertise in neurogenic disorders, voice disorders, and medical speech-language pathology is preferred, although all areas of speech-language pathology expertise will be considered.

D. or Ed.D.) in Communication Disorders or a
closely related field. Exceptional applicants who are ABD will be considered. All applicants must
be ASHA certified, and Arkansas licensed or eligible to be licensed in Arkansas. Preferred Education and / or Experience Expertise in neurogenic disorders, voice disorders, or medical speech-language pathology is preferred, although all areas of speech-language pathology expertise will be considered.
