Business Analyst
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst working hybrid in Seattle, WA to support our premier client’s Analytics team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and experience with SQL. This is an 11-month contract role that offers insight into a fast-paced and productive environment looking at the customer experience lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
- Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- Works with the data engineering team to build the business requirements to evolve the insights and analysis about the Customer Experience.
Required Skills :
- 6-8 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analyst role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related technical field.
- Proficiency with SQL
- Advanced skills and experience with datamining, query development, and visualization : PL / SQL, Quicksight, Tableau, Statistical Analysis tools, MS Excel, or similar.
- Experience with gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred Skills :
- An advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA).
- Experience working with cloud data repository services.
Strong knowledge of advanced statistical concepts.
