What you will do :
The Quality Analyst reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager under general supervision, and is responsible for analyzing warranty batteries, determining failure modes and communicating through RBR paper work to customer service.
How you will do it :
Unload RBR Warranty Pallet Trailers, Teardown and Analysis of Warranty Batteries and (HRF) High Rate Failures then wrapping them and loading to a Core Trailer to be sent to the Smelter.
Inspection of internal components and record the reason for failure, the condition of each component and the type of component.
Analyze components according to established quality control procedures.
Inspect battery exterior for any physical condition, customer and manufacturer identification, deciphers date codes and records information.
Determine serviceable condition of battery without teardown using a load tester or charge acceptance test with cadmium probe readings.
Teardown and Analysis of Scrap Batteries and update the tracking system.
Analyze Claim batteries and put the report together to customer service.
Involve in process engineering and production supervision as necessary to identify and correct the cause and to eliminate or minimize future occurrences.
What we look for : Required
Required
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing facility.
Microsoft Office Excel proficient.
Preferred
Associate degree in Quality, Engineering or similar disciplines is a plus.
Forklift Driving experience (sit-downs, stand-up).
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without help from another operator or lifting device
