All About You

My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning engineer to join their team. As a Commissioning Engineer , you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to clients, ensuring that their equipment is functioning optimally.

This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience (3 years) in a similar role, preferably in the power electronics or electrochemistry and software engineering
  • Proven ability to work with power systems, battery systems and controls knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed, up to 75% of the time
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software

Responsibilities

  • Travel to client sites to install, repair, and maintain equipment
  • Participate in and support installation and commissioning activities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues
  • Provide remote monitoring and diagnostics support
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of client equipment
  • Provide technical training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment (Li-ion battery solutions with power conversion systems on utility scale energy storage installations solar PV, wind, grid services,
  • Collaborate with the engineering and research teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and document any customer interactions
