My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning engineer to join their team. As a Commissioning Engineer , you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to clients, ensuring that their equipment is functioning optimally.
This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience (3 years) in a similar role, preferably in the power electronics or electrochemistry and software engineering
- Proven ability to work with power systems, battery systems and controls knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed, up to 75% of the time
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software
Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to install, repair, and maintain equipment
- Participate in and support installation and commissioning activities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues
- Provide remote monitoring and diagnostics support
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of client equipment
- Provide technical training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment (Li-ion battery solutions with power conversion systems on utility scale energy storage installations solar PV, wind, grid services,
- Collaborate with the engineering and research teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and document any customer interactions
