Summary :
The Finance department at LexisNexis Risk Solutions is made up of a global team located around the world though primarily US, UK, and the Philippines.
They’re focused on providing high quality, insightful and efficient support to the business both in its day-to-day operations and executing the long-term strategies.
This Accounts Payable Specialist role is a homebased role, and as such is suited to someone who is a self-starter, well organized, strong communicator who loves working with a variety of teams to help solve problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Read, analyze and interpret data for reporting purposes ·
- Assist with development / implementation of Accounts Payable invoice and payment processes and compliance controls ·
- Act as Subject Matter Expert liaison between offshore Accounts Payable team, Vendors and internal business areas and respond to enquiries promptly ·
- Perform and / or Review Balance Sheet Reconciliation ·
- Assist with annual preparation and reporting
- Administration of Positive Pay exceptions
- Investigate and resolve payment returns, by working closely with Cash Operations, Treasury, Functional Support and Offshore Accounts Payable team
- Assist with roll out of Purchase Order Process
- Review / management of global Aged Creditor reporting
- Analyze information to solve on-going problems.
- Review of source documents for record retention
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports upon request
- Review of SOPs with a view to help drive global improvements

SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Oracle Fusion knowledge a great advantage
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast past-paced environment. ·
- Strong Interpersonal / Communication skills : Tact and diplomacy to communicate ideas in a concise and logical way.
- Shares information, keeps the team informed, avoids surprises, responds promptly to queries.
- Ability to define and solve practical problems

- Basic understanding of US and global electronic payment methods ·

Compensation :
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
