Warehouse Associate

Job Description : As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in our daily operations. This position involves handling daily work orders, picking, loading / unloading contents, and ensuring items are organized and stored safely.

You will work closely with the warehouse manager and other associates to maintain an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities :

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
• Manually move boxes and furniture quickly and efficiently.
• Scan contents to track them through the facility.
• Receive and process warehouse goods / contents, including picking, loading, and unloading.
• Properly pad and protect warehouse contents to prevent breakage or damage.
• Collaborate with warehouse associates to prioritize tasks.
• Communicate professionally with managers and co-workers.
• Comply with company processes and policies.
• Perform routine maintenance of the facility, including grounds cleanup, general cleaning of the facility and company fleet, and organization and cleaning of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Forklift experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment :

Frequent walking and / or standing throughout the day. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperature and noise level conditions.

This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. This position may require longer hours and some flexibility in hours may be needed depending upon the business needs.

Compensation : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
