Job Description :

Only qualified Enterprise Data Architect candidateslocated near the Trenton NJ area will be considered due to theposition requiring an onsite presence.

The Sr. Enterprise Architectfocuses on building data architecture frameworks standards and datamodeling activities defining conceptual logical physical analyticaland canonical models.

10 years of handson experience with AWSarchitecture is required.

Handsonexperience and expertise in creating and automating data pipelinesusing AWS services.

Expertise in data management principles master datamanagement principles data governance concepts and data engineeringmethodologies.

Proficientin NoSQL and relational MDM data modeling.

Experience in data governance withCollibra.

Experienced inworking with different software developmentmethodologies.

Duties andResponsibilities :

Conduct an assessment of the current state of datasystems.

Establish thesystem of record and data dictionary for data systems.

Develop enterprisearchitecture.

Create andconstruct conceptual logical and physical models.

Facilitate business sessions tovalidate business taxonomy and use cases.

Provide an initial design solution for the coredata model and additional forthcoming data structures.

Support project requirements in themodernization of conceptual logical and physical models.

Define the client architectureacross conceptual logical and physical layers.

Develop and maintain conceptuallogical and physical data models utilizing best practices andensuring optimal query performance.

Optimize and update conceptual logical andphysical data models to foster a new and secure dataenvironment.

Assist inestablishing best practices for standard namingconventions.

Coordinateactivities with the EDL team including developers andtesters.

Assist inpromoting database objects from lower to higherenvironments.

Lead designreviews of data models and relevant metadata to ensureconsistency.

Recommendopportunities for the reuse of data models acrossprojects.

Consult withdatabase administrators regarding the creation of physical dataschemas referential integrity and the fulfillment of businessrequirements.

Collaboratewith ETL developers report developers and end users on effectivedatabase utilization.

Guide system analysts engineers programmers and others onproject limitations requirements interfaces and system integrationchallenges and solutions.

Mentor client team members on all facets of datamodeling.

Note :

Contractor will be able to work remotely a lotof the time but must be located near Trenton NJ area and beavailable to come into the office for meetings.
