On a typical day you will :
Assists the Attorney Compensation Manager with arrangements / transactions to be reviewed by practice and office leadership with regards to the setting of annual compensation for the firm’s attorneys whose compensation is determined by way of individual contract, i.
e., contract partners, counsel, of counsel (generally)
- Oversees the collection of quality data for use in the calculation of incentive payments
- Prepare analyses for review as it relates to lateral attorney candidates
- Works closely with Payroll staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all attorney incentive payments
- Provides ongoing data and analysis support to the Attorney Compensation Manager
- Responsible for scheduling and overall administration of the annual Share process, and Contract Partner Comp process
- Special and Ad Hoc analyses, including quarterly / annual processes for special committees (REC, ISC, etc.)
- Project assignments as required
- Ongoing document management and tracking as it relates to attorney contracts, incentives, special bonuses and partner transitions
- Responsible for updating budget hours and credit allocations
Join us if you have :
- 4+ years progressively responsible work experience, including 2+ years in an analyst / comp role, required
- 3+ years’ experience with accounting software systems, preferred
- Must perform well under pressure and execute assignments with minimal direction; advanced skill level of standard MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word and Power Point required.
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and SQL applications preferred
- Ability to understand and interpret financial and performance data, required
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail and ability to work under and meet reporting deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization, including interpersonal skills, required
- Previous experience in a law-firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, strongly preferred
- BA / BS required. Degree in Accounting / Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred

Washington State
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $90,000 to $98,000 ($46.15 - $50.26 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program.
For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly.

California
The annualized salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $88,000 to $96,000 ($45.13 - 49.23); and in San Francisco is $98,000 to $107,000 ($50.
26 - $54.87). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
