POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician at Old Town will mainly handle landscaping responsibilities along with essential maintenance and pressure washing tasks.

This position demands expertise in using landscaping equipment, basic maintenance skills, and a strong focus on safety and cleanliness.

Requirements :

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LANDSCAPING

Performs all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding edging.

Hedging, racking, and mulch installation.

Effectively operates all landscape-related power machinery in a safety-conscious manner.

MAINTENANCE

• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and a reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
• Perform maintenance on basic electrical and basic plumbing needs for the facility

PRESSURE WASHING

• Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces
• Pressure washing sidewalks, curbs, some seating areas, trash receptacles
• Maintains pressure washing equipment in a neat, clean, safe, and good working condition

This job requires the ability to perform the following :

• Carrying, lifting, pulling, or pushing items. Bending, stooping kneeling, and climbing.
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
• Communication, reading, and writing abilities are utilized in order to document or record tasks completed.

To be considered you MUST have :

• Valid driver’s license
• Own transportation
• Basic handyman skills
• Proficient in English communication
• Good attitude
• Willing and eager to learn
