Job Title : Catholic Music Accompanist Job Type : Part-Time Location : Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ Qualifications : Willingness to provide services following traditional ecclesiastical liturgical practices.
Proven familiarity with Catholic worship requirements. Evidence of academic certification and / or experience in Catholic music.
Proficiency in sight-reading, transposing, and developing accompaniment for melodies and chords, as well as reading full musical scores.
Ability to maintain healthy, functional interpersonal relationships with co-workers, chapel staff, and parishioners. Duties : Play music at liturgical services under the direction of the Catholic Music Director.
Collaborate with the Catholic Music Director and Chaplain on music selections. Attend regular planning meetings with the Catholic Music Director.
Prepare for and participate in one-hour weekly rehearsals, separate from liturgical services. Perform at weekend Masses and special services, including a warm-up session before each. Powered by JazzHR
