We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team in the industrial manufacturing sector. As a Purchasing Agent , you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and equipment at the best possible prices to support our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain
• Conduct research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to optimize material usage and minimize waste
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to procurement

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
