Ramboll is seeking motivated and experienced candidates to join our Engineering practice as a Senior Project Manager. We invite you to bring your Science / Engineering and Project Management background into play as you manage existing and evolving investigation and remediation projects primarily in the Northeast (NJ, NY and PA) region.
Your key tasks and responsibilities for this role will be :
- Successfully managing the execution of investigation, remediation and design projects, including remedial investigations, remedy selection, remedial designs, remedial actions, and post-remediation monitoring programs.
- Effectively leading the development and finalization of technical documents, including work plans / scoping documents, remedial investigation reports, feasibility studies, remedial action reports, and post-remediation monitoring reports.
- Leading business development and project management activities including scope and budget development, proposal writing, budget / milestone tracking, client presentation, and regulatory interaction.
- Assisting in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities within service lines, spearheads, sectors, key accounts and / or growth initiatives.
- Regularly interacting with existing and prospective clients, and establishing collaborative project teams of Engineers, Geologists, Scientists and Subject Matter Experts.
- Providing technical quality reviews of work products developed by others and coordinating the work of other engineering disciplines into the final design deliverables.
- Coaching and mentoring project team members to develop their professional and project management skills, in collaboration with Division / People Managers.
- Acting as a leader in implementing and promoting health and safety requirements and guidance.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Science or other related field and 15 to 25 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and technical guidance (e.g., NJDEP TRSR, NYSDEC DER-10, PA Act 2, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA).
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up to date 8-hour refresher.
- Solid project management skills, with strong technical and client relationship building capabilities.
