MBA Leadership Development Program (LDP) - Class of 2025 Where the Chemistry Happens
BASF's Leadership Development Programs (LDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded graduate students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences.
Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore a range of dynamic career options, each of which offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to BASF’s business and customers.
In addition to expanding their knowledge and skill sets, participants will gain valuable insight into their own capabilities, strengths, and passions.
Our program also provides an immersive introduction to BASF's culture and values, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to excel in their future roles.

Program Summary :
- BASF’s MBA Rotational Program is a 2-year cross-functional program with rotations in various areas within the organization, consisting of functional and business group assignments.
- Your ability to be mobile is critical, as this program is comprised of four six-month assignments in different locations across the US, including the possibility of one six-month international assignment.
- US locations include, but are not limited to, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana.
- International locations include, but are not limited to, Germany, Mexico, and China.
- Your projects may include preparing operational plans, new business development, market research, strategy implementation, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Upon completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to become part of BASF’s Talent Pipeline working across a variety of disciplines.
- Program start dates are June and August 2025.

Minimum Requirements :
- Enhanced career and leadership development, and value delivery to BASF through planned assignments.
- MBA or Master’s graduates pursuing a career in General Management.
- MBA or Master’s graduation date must fall between May 2022 - August 2025.
- Minimum of 3 years’ & maximum of 6 years’ professional work experience.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. during and upon placement from the program. All assignments are in-person / hybrid.
- Demonstrated previous leadership experience & academic achievement.
- International exposure or experience a plus.
