Rogers Group is seeking a Welder for our rock quarry operations in East TN; based out of Oak Ridge, TN. We offer a competitive salary!
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to :
- Inspect and perform maintenance on ground engaging equipment
- Fabricate various components for the plants throughout our East TN division
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude / ability to diagnose and perform repairs as needed
- Welding and cutting experience preferred
- Experience in steel erection / destruction ., welding, cutting, and fitting preferred
- Previous experience working in a rock quarry preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
