We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This role involves managing employee benefits, processing claims, and handling related administrative tasks.
The role is a short-term contract position and is based in our office in Dayton.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and process employee benefits including enrollments and terminations
- Administer COBRA, 401K, employee compensation, and other benefit programs
- Handle claims administration and troubleshoot any issues related to claims
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of benefits and compensation
- Use tools like Cisco Webex Meetings and CRM for efficient communication and management
- Assist in auditing processes related to compensation and benefits to ensure compliance
- Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel to generate relevant reports and analyze data
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefit programs
- Provide support for various HR functions as needed
- Participate in the open enrollment process and provide assistance to employees.

- Proficiency in using Cisco Webex Meetings for virtual communication and collaboration
- Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to manage and analyze customer interactions and data
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Understanding of benefit functions, including designing, planning and implementation of benefits policies
- Experience in claim administration to manage and resolve benefits claims effectively
- Familiarity with Cobra Administration to manage health insurance plans
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders such as employees, management, and benefits providers
