North American Renewables, Inc., is seeking a Design Engineer - I, to join our growing EPC team!
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Creation of civil, electrical, and structural development plan sets in CAD and coordination with subject matter experts to incorporate updates
- Preparation of standard details in CAD and coordination with subject matter experts and field teams to develop efficient processes
- Creation of CAD templates for various design packages and documentation of CAD standards for NAR
- Developing solar layouts in PVCase and creating PVSyst energy modeling reports with the assistance of a solar design engineer
- Creation of as-built drawings and documentation to close out construction projects
- Coordination with the BIM team to 3D model CAD designs
- Earthworks analysis and preliminary grading design for sites using Civil3D
- Creation of electrical single line and three-line diagrams
- AutoCAD layer and file management
- Shadowing subject matter experts to increase knowledge base for design and construction projects

Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in engineering required
- EIT certification preferred
- 1 year of work experience in the land development design / engineering field
- Experience with solar development preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D required
- Experience with PVCase, PVSyst, and vehicle tracking analysis tools preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screen that does not include THC.
