Job Title : Field Service Technician

Are you a skilled, experienced Field Service Technician with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for hands-on work? We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring equipment operates at peak performance, solving technical problems, and leveraging decades of industry expertise.

About the Role : We have been delivering "Best in Class" modular solutions for over three decades, and we are looking for a candidate with strong mechanical aptitude who can work independently in various field settings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform equipment installations at customer locations, with travel required approximately 15% of the month based on project needs.
  • Conduct quality inspections using laser measurement systems (e.g., laser trackers, laser scanners) and other inspection tools.
  • Collect data and generate calibration reports.
  • Set up and level equipment, including manipulators and positioners.
  • Perform precise measurements using tape measures, laser levels, and machinist levels.
  • Maintain and organize tools, hardware, and consumables inventory.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding the services performed.
  • When not traveling, assist internal teams with special projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience working independently and problem-solving in mechanical and / or industrial maintenance or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, or electrical work is a plus.
  • Educational background in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of shop math and the ability to convert between metric and standard measurements.
  • Experience working with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong electro-mechanical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Quality-focused with pride in workmanship.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
