Job Title : Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform equipment installations at customer locations, with travel required approximately 15% of the month based on project needs.
- Conduct quality inspections using laser measurement systems (e.g., laser trackers, laser scanners) and other inspection tools.
- Collect data and generate calibration reports.
- Set up and level equipment, including manipulators and positioners.
- Perform precise measurements using tape measures, laser levels, and machinist levels.
- Maintain and organize tools, hardware, and consumables inventory.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding the services performed.
- When not traveling, assist internal teams with special projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience working independently and problem-solving in mechanical and / or industrial maintenance or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, or electrical work is a plus.
- Educational background in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of shop math and the ability to convert between metric and standard measurements.
- Experience working with technical drawings and specifications.
- Mechanically inclined with strong electro-mechanical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- Quality-focused with pride in workmanship.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
