Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Store Fixture Fabricator to join our Distribution Center team. This position is perfect for someone with basic skills in using power tools and a passion for woodworking.
While extensive experience is not required, a background in construction is preferred. As a Wooden Display Fixture Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden display fixtures that are used in our retail stores.

Job Responsibilities :
- Fixture Construction : Build wooden display fixtures for furniture retail stores according to design specifications and plans.
- Repair and Maintenance : Inspect and repair existing wooden fixtures, ensuring they are in excellent condition for display purposes.
- Tool Operation : Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden fixtures.
- Material Handling : Select and handle wood materials efficiently, ensuring minimal wastage / damage.
- Quality Control : Ensure the quality and finish of wooden fixtures meet the company's standards and design measurement specifications.
- Safety : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

Our ideal candidate :
- Basic knowledge and experience using power tools and hand tools.
- Experience in construction or woodworking is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move at least lbs.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced builders and supervisors.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
