We are NOW HIRING an experienced Chef Manager to join our Delta Sky Club (SFO) culinary team
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, dynamic company. We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager committed to quality operations every day.
In this role, you will be responsible for the success of both the culinary and food service operations.
- Salary - $75,000-$80,000 *based on skill, experience, and work history
- The lounge is open from 4 : 00 AM -12 : 30 AM - 365 days a year
- Based on a 50-hour work week - Open availability is required
- Please note, that this is an on-site role based at the airport.
- Experience in Fine Dining and / or VIP Clubs is HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Key Responsibilities :
- Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- Possesses a passion for sustainability
Preferred Qualifications :
- Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking is needed
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- ServSafe certification is a plus
