About this internship : We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in the world of finance.
As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our finance professionals to support various financial tasks and projects.
You will have a valuable opportunity to learn about many key aspects of finance that may include financial analysis, budgeting, and data analysis.

Responsibilities are dependent on what team you are assigned to and may include but are not limited to :
- Assist the credit, treasury, and / or accounting team on completing assigned tasks
- Aid your colleagues with payment processing
- Assist colleagues with answering questions from banks
- Proactively identifying opportunities for increased business opportunities
- Prepare various ad-hoc financial reports
- Prepare management presentations covering company results and key performance indicators and financial reports
- Uphold internal credit policies and procedures
- Help with invoice issuing and invoice coding (for costs allocation purposes)
- Contribute to the development of the various finance teams and to the positive working environment
Experience & Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or related degree required
- 0-1 years’ internship experience in energy or other commodity businesses preferred but not required
- Product knowledge in gas, oil, and / or petrochemical markets is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in an ERP system preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
- Dynamic interpersonal skills with strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to work independently; be a self-starter
- Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines
This position will not require international or domestic travel.
