Talento Search Group has an opening for a Waterjet CNC Operator in Chicago, Illinois. This is a direct hire on 1st shift.

The starting pay is $20-25 per hour, depending upon experience.

Responsibilities :

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Setup CNC machines for operation and production runs
• Review blueprints
• Decide which cutting tools that will be needed for each production run
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
• Perform quality checks of products
• Ability to use overhead cranes to move products

Qualifications :

• At least 2 years of recent CNC boring or waterjet experience
• HS-Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with overhead cranes highly desirable (rail systems)
• Experience setting up machine
• Ability to understand blueprints
• Good mathematical skills
• Ability to learn new processes
