We are in search of a Management Accountant to join our team based in Palo Alto, California. This role involves undertaking various accounting tasks across the financial reporting and audit cycle, including reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing receivables and payables, and supporting the audit function.

The role also requires daily interaction with other departments and Accounting managers globally.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all daily accounting transactions
• Contribute to the month-end / year-end closing process
• Create and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and prepare financial reports for management
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on current accounting standards and best practices
• Utilize accounting software systems such as SAP, Concur, and CRM for efficient processing
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Possess a minimum of one year experience in a Management Accountant role or similar position
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, Concur, and CRM
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Experience with 'About Time' software is desirable
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting
• Ability to manage Annual Budgets effectively
• Proficient in conducting Auditing tasks
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
