ARES is seeking a Data Management Specialist. The Data Management Specialist will gather requirements for data access management working with data and system owners for data sharing, integration connections, and interfaces.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates with stakeholders to leverage cross program tools for data management across NASA.
- Reviews new and existing data access management workflows for applications and systems for compliance with the Data Management Plan.
- Develops auditing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the Data Management Plan.
- Submits application and website registration and monitors export control review status.
- Attends and participates in monthly meetings associated with data management at NASA.
- Provides data management training and guidance documentation for supported programs.
- Develops and maintains a Data Management Plan including related technical documentation for access to IT systems.
- Experience working with access management in SharePoint.
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new environments and processes quickly.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to customers and management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through skills.
- Experience working individually and actively participating on integrated teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working with and / or developing NAMS Workflows.
- Experience developing technical documentation and training.
Education and Relevant Work Experience :
- BA / BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
- BA / BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience plus five (5) years of IT experience.
