Essential duties :

  • Process Bi-weekly payroll ·
  • Create specialized reporting for management. ·
  • Report on any payroll discrepancies ·
  • Handles employees’ inquiries regarding payroll information. ·
  • Maintain records on vacation, sick leave, etc ·
  • Process new hires, terminations, salary increases etc. in the payroll system on a timely manner. ·
  • Assist HR / Benefit Operations team with other tasks as needed ·
  • Process manual checks for state mandated payments, terminations, etc. ·
  • Provide back-up support to other Payroll Administrators, as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required . Accounting is preferred .
  • 5-7 years of experience in similar role is required.
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the payroll laws and regulations .

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to perform day to day duties and activities.
