Accounting Clerk (Temp to Perm) Chicago
LHH is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Clerk to join the team in a fully onsite role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting processes.
Responsibilities :
Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and statements on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
Manage vendor and client relationships, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
