The Service Center Billing Clerk will invoice and / or claim revenue on behalf of the Booking Agent, Origin Agent, and / or Destination Agent for all services provided by the service center on Military, GSA, Consumer, and National Account shipments.
- Ensure that revenue is claimed accurately and timely for our service centers
- Execute billing listed on the Service Center Not Billed Report for Military, COD, GSA and National Account shipments
- Review all shipment documents received from service center, agent, and / or driver
- Prepare billing information and verify any changes to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close for each service center
- Mail / Email invoices for payment
- Work closely with the service centers, sales team, and move coordinators to make sure documents are completed and resolve any rating / billing discrepancies
- Provide accurate data and daily reporting
- Assist the collections department with any billing inquiries
- Other responsibilities as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Knowledge of company software
- Interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate 10-key calculator
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
