Centralized Billing Clerk

The Service Center Billing Clerk will invoice and / or claim revenue on behalf of the Booking Agent, Origin Agent, and / or Destination Agent for all services provided by the service center on Military, GSA, Consumer, and National Account shipments.

• Ensure that revenue is claimed accurately and timely for our service centers
• Execute billing listed on the Service Center Not Billed Report for Military, COD, GSA and National Account shipments
• Review all shipment documents received from service center, agent, and / or driver
• Prepare billing information and verify any changes to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close for each service center
• Mail / Email invoices for payment
• Work closely with the service centers, sales team, and move coordinators to make sure documents are completed and resolve any rating / billing discrepancies
• Provide accurate data and daily reporting
• Assist the collections department with any billing inquiries
• Other responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Knowledge of company software
• Interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to operate 10-key calculator
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Required : High school diploma or GED
