About this opportunity :
The Membership Secretary coordinates administrative and operational systems and procedures to support Club achievement of program and fund-raising goals.
Serves as a liaison with vendors and suppliers to maintain equipment and supplies. Maintains office calendar of events and deadlines and monitors workflow.
Trains staff in office procedures and equipment use. Maintains financial records, prepares deposits, and other financial related matters as trained and instructed.

What we are looking for in you :
High school diploma required or GED Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferred or Combination of education, training and experience equivalent to two years in office administration role.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to type and keypunch information into a computer.
Ability to operate various general office equipment including a computer, photocopy machine, typewriter, facsimile, calculator.
Ability to answer the telephone in a courteous and tactful manner. Ability to sort and file items alphabetically and numerically.
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.
5-10% of work time. Work is performed in a Boys & Girls Club environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
