The Family Engagement Facilitator (FEF) will work with the Family and Community Engagement Team under the direction of New York State Education Department (NYSED), in consultation with the Regional Partnership Center to provide a combination of regional training and support, targeted professional development and technical assistance, build capacity of educators and families, serve as a member of the Regional Level and Statewide Team and provide information and resources to upload to NYSED website.
Masters degree required .
It is essential that the candidate be able to work well with people, be a good listener, have comprehensive knowledge of special education and community-based services, and be able to effectively collaborate with schools and organizations throughout WNY.
Parent Network of WNY is a not-for-profit agency that provides education and resources for families of individuals with special needs (birth through adulthood) and for professionals.
NYS Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
