Duration : 6 Months

Type : Must be able to report to the Paramus office 2-3 days a week, and as needed.

Note :

Candidates with PMI certification and Lean / Six Sigma experience are highly preferred.

The Challenge :

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established deadlines and budgets.

This role involves coordinating resources, team members, and third-party contractors to deliver solutions according to project plans.

The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and provide regular updates on progress throughout the project lifecycle.

This individual will manage issues and escalations, providing support to internal and external stakeholders as needed. Additionally, the role entails gathering and analyzing data to support business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Collaborate with executives and senior leaders to develop and maintain a strategic plan aligned with project objectives.

Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, design solutions, and deliverables that align with business goals.

Estimate project resources and participant requirements to achieve project goals.

Prepare budget proposals, track financials, and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, or escalate as appropriate.

Manage project dependencies and critical paths effectively.

Plan, schedule, and monitor project milestones using appropriate tools and team meetings.

Generate regular status reports and ad hoc updates for the Steering Committee and other stakeholders.

Coordinate user acceptance testing, communications, and training with business stakeholders.

Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including installation details, support models, and operational procedures.

Apply knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes.

Perform other duties as required to achieve project and business objectives.

Required Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and motivate others.

Strong facilitation skills to elicit vision, goals, and requirements from executives and management.

Proficiency in project and software development life cycles (PMLC, SDLC; Waterfall, Iterative; SCRUM, etc.).

Understanding of infrastructure systems, networks, Cloud, personal computing, system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and manage multiple activities in a dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills to understand business functionality, technical solutions, and support requirements.

Proficiency in Google Suite applications, especially Google Slides and Sheets, as well as Project Management tools.

Essential Skills & Requirements :

Experience in the Utilities (water or electric) industries preferred.

Experience with major infrastructure and application deployment projects.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.

PMP, ITIL, Lean / Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Work Experience :

Minimum 7 years of technology project management experience, collaborating closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and third parties.

Experience leading business technology discussions, projects, and programs, including presenting project deliverables.

Experience in a PMO structured environment with standard documentation and tools.
