The Church History Museum is pleased to welcome a full-time Collections Photography Intern in the fall of 2024 (with the possibility of extension).
The Church History Museum provides engaging experiences for individuals to connect with the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its people's growing spiritual, artistic, and cultural legacies.
The Collections Photography Intern supports this mission by working one-on-one with Preservation staff to enhance the photo documentation of the collection.
Specifically, the Collections Photography Intern will facilitate the photography of art, sculpture, textiles, and 3-D items in storage.
The work will consist of moving items to and from the storage location to the photography areas and adjusting the setup.
Editing images taken by photographers for ingesting into the museum catalog is a secondary responsibility. Printing images for storage boxes is also part of the weekly work assignment.
