We are looking for a Director of Sales Development to join our growing team!

As the Director of Sales Development your primary purpose will be to expand the Sales Development organization and generate a robust sales pipeline.

This role involves implementing a systematic, data-driven approach to sales development. The Director of Sales will also be responsible for coaching, managing, and nurturing a high-performing Sales Development team.

As the Director of Sales Development, you will :

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and coach Sales Development Managers and Representatives to achieve monthly targets.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the sales development process, including strategies, tactics, metrics, and talk tracks.
  • Generate pipeline opportunities (both new prospects and existing customers) and consistently meet or exceed monthly targets by coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Identify the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for each business unit, collaborating with Marketing and Sales leadership to target key audiences and drive results.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market landscapes.
  • Clearly communicate value propositions through both verbal and written channels.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Provide accurate forecasting based on pipeline data within the CRM (SFDC).
  • Regularly build, track, analyze, and report on performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

A great fit for this position has :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred; an MBA is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales development with a proven track record.
  • Previous experience in leading and managing sales development teams is essential.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on driving pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with prospective and existing customers, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales development strategies.
  • Proficient in using sales management tools and CRM systems.

Additional Desirable Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • High level of initiative and sound decision-making capability.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to travel as required.
