About the Role :

MVP is seeking an innovative Creative Strategist to lead creative and design production, transforming our team’s insights and business opportunities into compelling visuals and externally facing sales and marketing assets.

This role will be the primary point of contact for driving creative design internally and ensuring consistency of the MVP brand, working closely with cross-functional teams to elevate MVP’s brand and visual identity.

In addition, the Creative Strategist will be a forward-thinking, innovative player who can translate our brand ethos into straightforward, strategic visual storytelling while helping shape sales and marketing strategies that optimize MVP’s position in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing, managing, and overseeing strong creative projects and brand campaigns.

They should have excellent project management skills, data visualization expertise, and a deep understanding of brand and creative strategies at the intersection of sports, entertainment, data, and technology.

Estimated Salary : $50,000-$75,000 depending on background and experience

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design Creation : Develop high-quality designs for various platforms and internal teams, including presentations, proposal materials, data visualization, client reports, websites, social media, print materials, and other brand advertising materials
  • Cross-Team Collaboration : Support the Sales + Marketing and Customer Success teams on prospective deals by providing strategic design support that strengthens go-to-market strategies and proposals to help secure new business opportunities.

Work with other internal teams to understand their vision, gather feedback, refine designs accordingly, and prioritize recommendations based on objectives and opportunities

  • Serve as a Brand Expert + Innovator : Act as the internal expert on the MVP brand, ensuring the continuity of the brand throughout all collateral and supporting the innovation and continual development of the MVP brand to remain a visually compelling thought leader in the marketplace
  • Project Management : Manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, ensuring timely communication of progress and challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage Creative Strategy Development : Collaborate with marketing and product teams to conceptualize and execute creative strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Ensure Brand Consistency : Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all channels
  • Market Research : Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences that inform design decisions

Qualifications :

  • Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a graphic designer, with experience in sports or with brands, agencies, or property groups in sports, or software company that works with F500 brands, agencies, and media partners
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other design tools; proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of G-Suite helpful

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and a capability to effectively translate insights from complex data into visual communications and storytelling
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and branding strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into effective visual solutions
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in an autonomous, fast-paced environment with high expectations and short deadlines
  • Experience in digital marketing or advertising is a plus
