The Marketing and Communications Department at One Mission Society creates compelling content to showcase how Jesus Christ is changing lives around the world through OMS missionaries and ministries.
As the social media / web content creator intern, you’ll create and maintain social media and web content to inform and inspire individuals to be more deeply involved in the Great Commission.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other team members to update and maintain OMS social media platforms with new content, as well as study OMS metrics.
- Maintain various OMS websites by providing new content and improving old content.
- Develop visual collateral material through written and visual storytelling for posting on digital platforms.
Requirements
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ
- Going into junior or senior year of college, or post-graduate student
- Background, training, and experience in communications, digital media, media technology or related fields
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), You Tube, etc.
- Experience with website platforms, such as Wix and Squarespace
- Excellent visual communications skills, desire to learn, and flexible
- Accustomed to working within deadlines

Optional : Short-term Mission Trip
Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip to Colombia during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days.
Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
