A Plus Tree is hiring CDL Drivers. We are looking for Class A and C drivers with clean driving records to operate our trucks and equipment.

You will be driving newer company vehicles to / from the job site and performing tree work while there, working as a Grounds Person.

You will assist the Grounds Crew in the safe operations of general tree care. A Plus Tree specializes in the removal, pruning (trimming), and health of trees in urban areas.

You must have a passion for safety and a desire to work in an exciting environment. We are looking for candidates who have the capacity to learn new skills, including the use of equipment large and small, and be willing to become certified tree climbers!

Responsibilities :

• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
• Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
• Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks.
• Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
• Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Foreman or other relevant parties.
• All other duties as assigned .

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Valid Class A license.
• Drivers must have a clean record.
• three years of consistent driving experience.
• Any major violations within 60 months will not be accepted.
• Passionate about tree work, service, and people.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Outdoor enthusiast! You will be working outdoors come rain or shine.
• Hard-working, reliable, honest, and able to report for work regularly and punctually.
• Follow safety guidelines. Safety is our #1 DONE.
• Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
• Must be 21 years older.
