Background : Position Summary

Position Summary

This is a Functional Team Lead (Senior Military Training Specialist) position at the SESD, National Simulation Center, Fort Gregg Adams, VA in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.

Requirements and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree (associated discipline);
• Graduate of CGSC or ILE (MEL 4), Senior NCOES or equivalent, Senior Service College or equivalent military schooling / 10 yrs.
• related experience in instructional development;
• 3 yrs. experience on a U.S. Military staff (Battalion or higher);
• 3 to 5 yrs. experience managing M&S team in support of training including systems JLCCTC, WARSIM, and other systems as required;
• 3 to 5 yrs. experience in training and simulation using Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM);
• Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of systems;
• Knowledge, understanding, and experience using the JELC process; experience providing operator and functional training;
• Knowledge and understanding of configuring, maintaining, and providing senior control oversight for JDLM / / SECRET

Support Hours : The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open / manned, or in an alternative workplace.

Place of Performance : The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies.

Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.

Travel : The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
