Financial Controller - Small/Medium Business Customer Vertical Market & AMQ

We are hiring a Finance Controller to support our Small to Medium Business (SMB) Customer Vertical Market and AMQ (standalone business unit) .

This position will partner with the Americas SMB CVM General Manager, Marketing teams as well as the AMQ General Manager and leadership team to provide financial oversight and governance.

What You Will Be Doing : FP&A Activities Financial reporting & analysis, planning and forecasting :

• Monthly financial reporting, forecasting and analysis of SMB CVM.
• Lead and facilitate SMB CVM annual planning process to achieve both near and mid-term financial targets (orders, sales, GM, OPEX and OI targets).
• OPEX management of CVM spend to ensure spending targets are achieved and spending focused on highest financial return initiatives and projects.
• Responsible for accounting for unique business processes of the SMB CVM (as needed).
• Works closely with CVM GM to establish and track progress of key strategic priorities and KPI’s.
• Provide assurance of appropriate control environment for areas of responsibility.
• Oversight of AMQ accounting, financial analysis and reporting and forecasting.
• AMQ Assistant Controller and finance team report directly to this position.

Business Partner Activities Influence & driving impact; being a trusted business partner :

• Strategic and day-to-day decision support.
• Ad hoc financial analysis to support growth & strategic initiatives / projects.
• Evaluation of new business models.
• Development of Sales strategies and associated targets.
• Significant run-the-business initiatives.
• Strategic pricing support.
• Assist CVM leadership team to achieve sales and profitability targets and business objectives.
• Customer account strategies including product mix and customer specific profitability improvement actions.
• Overall CVM profitability improvement both customer & product focused.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization in support of achieving business results.
• External focus through providing competitive insights.
• Primary finance business partner for the AMQ GM and leadership team.

Required Skills and Competencies :

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance management
• Demonstrated business unit Controller level experience
• Proven experience with leading high performing and self-direct teams
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Preferred Skills and Competencies :

CPA strongly preferred
