Overview :
The Project Manager is to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our deck projects. As the Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects, from initial client consultation to final installation and completion.
You will collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing construction projects.
Responsibilities :
- lead and manage all phases of exterior projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and quality control
- serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining regular communication, providing daily updates, and addressing any concerns or issues
- develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements, company goals, and industry best practices
- coordinate with internal departments, such as design, production and installation to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to project specifications
- identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success
- procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for project execution
- conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, assess work quality and address any deviations from plans and specifications
- manage project change orders, tracking costs and ensuring profitability throughout the project lifecycle
- attend project meetings, kick-off meetings, progress reviews and post-project evaluation
- prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders and closeout documents
Requirements :
- proven experience in project management, preferable in the construction or home improvement industry, with a track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross functional teams to achieve project goals
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- proficiency in project management software (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques related to exterior construction
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
