As a Senior Auditoryou will be trained and mentored by experienced, world class accounting professionals who will help you further build your skills in a multinational environment.
Sensient views the Senior Auditor as a steppingstone to key financial roles in its businesses and, with demonstrated success, to positions of leadership.
In between the audits scheduled throughout the year, you will be working in-office in our Milwaukee location. Audits require domestic and international travel up to 40% of the time.

What you’ll do :
- You will embark on pre-scheduled site visits and special projects in fascinating locations around the world, from California, to Paris, to Turkey, to Brazil, to Thailand, to New Zealand.
- Conduct audits of Sensient’s operating locations across the globe through risk assessments, planning, and fieldwork.
- On site, you will : Evaluate control deficiencies for potential impact. Perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate management remediation actions in accordance with Company policies and standards.
- Once you return from your audits to your primary office, you will : Communicate your findings and recommendations for improvement.
Identify new practices which can be leveraged to better Sensient’s procedures.
Perform special projects as needed to advise on the design and implementation of new polices, processes, and systems that will improve governance, risk management, and control processes.
What you’ll bring :
- Ideally 3+ years of audit experience preferably with international exposure. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA a plus but not required.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), corporate accounting processes, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal control assessments.
- Comprehensive data analysis skills in the form of automation techniques, benchmarking, internal controls testing, risk assessment, and financial monitoring.
